Role Description

The Kitchen & Bath Design Sales Consultant will be an on-site, part-time (with potential for full time)  position located in Frederick, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with clients, interpreting their needs and wants, and translating them into the creation of exceptional designs. The role requires constant communication and coordination with clients, office, and production to ensure that every project progresses smoothly, making sure that all the materials and products are properly customized, delivered, and installed.

Here’s some information about the role:

Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences and requirements for kitchen and bathroom projects including expansion of and additions to the home.

• Create innovative and functional kitchen and bath designs that exceed customer expectations.
• Present design concepts and product recommendations to clients, incorporating their feedback and making necessary revisions.
• Provide expert product knowledge and guidance to customers on materials, finishes, and fixtures in both pre and final selections.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
•  Generate and follow up on leads, actively seeking new opportunities to grow sales.
• Comfortable as our brand advocate – attending chamber and other social organization events
• Work with estimator to insure accurate project quotes and proposals, outlining project scope and pricing details.
• Work with our dedicated Kitchen & Path Project manager to ensure seamless project execution.
•  Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and product innovations.

And here’s some info about qualifications we’re looking for:

• Demonstrated experience in kitchen and bath design or sales experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate vision and direction to clients and suppliers, and negotiate terms and contracts
• Experience working with 2020 Design Software – not mandatory, but nice to have!
• Excellent project management skills, including organization, time management, and budgeting
• Ability to multitask, to meet the needs of multiple clients at a time
• Ability to be open to infrequent work weekends and evenings
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in interior design, fine arts, business, or related studies
• Familiarity with the latest materials, trends, and techniques in kitchen and bath design remodels
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products-not mandatory, but it’s how we get things done.
• Maryland Home Improvement Commission Salesperson license (or ability to pass test to obtain)
